Notifications and user preferences ensure Mediafly is configured to your needs and you can stay up to date with the latest changes. Users can modify their Mediafly notification and user preferences by visiting the user profile on the web viewer application.
Setting up Notifications
Users can manage their personal notifications to their needs. To update environment-wide notification setting, please contact support.
1. Open the Mediafly web app and select your profile icon on the top right menu
2. Select Preferences from the dropdown menu
3. Select Notifications tab
4. Update desired notification settings
Notifications Overview
- Comments: When enabled, users will receive a comment notification if they are the item uploader, have previously commented or when someone tags the user by typing a "+" followed by the email address.
- Feedback: When enabled, users with manage content on an item will receive notifications for feedback on the specific item submitted by users.
- Meeting Detected: When enabled, users will receive notifications regarding meeting details detected by the system to assist in follow-up and tracking.
- New Content - Daily: When enabled, users will receive a daily digest of content uploads and updates that they have permission to view.
- New Content - Instant: When enabled, users will receive instant notifications when content is uploaded or updated that they have permission to view. In app instant notifications will include direct links to the new content.
- Share Viewed: When enabled, users will receive instant notifications of activity on content share from the system.
Setting up User Preferences
1. Open the Mediafly web app and select your profile icon on the top right menu
2. Select Preferences from the dropdown menu
3. Update your system language, connected app and profile photo
4. Select Save
