You may have seen some of our videos on different win rate reports (linked below) or used our Win Rate Analysis Deep Dive Dashboard and wondered exactly how Intelligence360 calculates Win Rate, keep reading to find out.
The winRate field is considered 100% if something is won, and 0 for anything else. Typically, winRate is used on closed cards (there are a few filtered by something other than closed opportunities, but not many) so it's going to be looking at closed opps most often. Here's an example:
If you are looking at closed opportunities last quarter, showing the win rate with:
-
20 closed opportunities
-
5 of which are won opportunities, so each have a 100% win rate ( 100 X 5 = 500)
-
15 of which are lost opportunities, always a 0% win rate that will not be included in the win rate calculation
-
then the win rate calculation is 500/20, resulting in a 25% win rate
This is just an example and there will be times when the card isn't filtering down to closed opportunities, but the won opportunities will always have a 100% calculation PER won opportunity, and that number will always be divided by the total number of opps being filtered in a specific card.
Here's the formula: (won opportunities X 100) / total filtered opportunities = Win Rate %
