The Intelligence360 Platform dynamically calculates what content each user should be able to access based on a user's authorization; the Platform manages authorized content with Groups. Groups dictate what content is visible and to whom. Adding a user or team to a group grants that user or team the authorization and visibility established in the group.
To add a user or team to a group, Click Settings in the left nav menu, then click Groups.

To add or adjust the users in a group, click on a group from the list to open its detail window. The Intelligence360 Platform calculates the group type and will offer options based on that type. If you have authorization to add/adjust group members, you will see a Membership section. Open the Membership section to see what options are available for the group.

Membership Types
All groups have one of two membership types: data-driven or manually assigned.
Data-Driven Membership
Data-driven Membership uses the Platform to calculate group membership based on data such as Opportunity Owner or Account Owner.
Group membership for data-driven groups cannot be modified without changing the underlying record data. As an example, if you had a user that was identified as an opportunity owner who you did not want in that group, you would need to remove that user as the owner from all opportunities in the CRM.
Manually Assign Members
Manually assigning members allows you to search for a user's name or email to add an individual manually.

Content Authorization
All groups have one of two content authorization types: data-driven or manually added filters.
Data-Driven Content Authorization
Data-driven Content Authorization uses the Platform to calculate content visibility based on data such as Opportunity Owner or Account Owner.
Content Visibility for data-driven groups cannot be modified without changing the underlying record data. As an example, if you had a user that was identified as an opportunity owner who you did not want to see the opportunities they own, you would need to remove that user as the owner from all opportunities in the CRM.
Add a Filter
Add a filter to specify what content members of this group will be able to access. Content authorization is tied to the group type; like Opportunities by Type or Account by Type.

Discover A User's Groups
To see which Group(s) a user belongs to, you can go to User Management and select a user to open their User Profile window. Scroll down to the Groups section to see a list of Groups to which the user belongs. (You can also navigate to User Management from the dropdown menu in the left nav and selecting Team Profile, then the User Management tab.)
