Dashboards offer customized visualizations of multiple datasets...using your already existing data...all on one page. They're the feature that keeps on giving. You can turn your daily self-check-ins, team meetings, monthly forecasting, and more into one-stop shops. Your entire funnel review meeting could take place on ONE dashboard. Intelligence360 Admin and users that are included in a group with product feature access to "dashboard creation" can create their own dashboards.
Dashboards allow you to take base reports (both out of the box and created by your admin) and place them on a dashboard as interactive cards, giving you a place to inspect multiple, customizable reports in a layout dictated by you.

- Choose a template based on content type then click next.

- Board Summary & Tags
-
Board Summary: This summary will provide more detail about the dashboard than the definition summary and be present on the dashboard itself, above the first row. You can include things such as the insight the dashboard provides, links to useful, related resources, instructions on how to use the board, whatever you think will be helpful to someone using this dashboard. If you're not sure where to start, check out this example from our Advanced Sales Math dashboard.
"This dashboard provides insight into what it takes to win business and where you lose by comparing historic won/lost averages, win rates, and benchmarking the prediction against current pipeline by tracking the 6 highest predictors of B2B sales success by row: Engagement Level, Number of Meetings, Inbound Communication, Opportunity Contacts, Number of Pushes, Deal Age
Check out the Advanced Sales Math Dashboard Guide for more detail.
Watch our Machine Learning Overview video.

Tags: *optional* The purpose of tags is to group boards by topic (or tag). When using the search bar in the second-level nav, boards with tags will automatically be listed under the group(s). Add any additional tags you want to be associated with this board by clicking Add Tag and searching for or selecting additional tags. This is how you make them easy to find and easy to search for!
-
- Filtering an entire dashboard is only applicable to a board with one listed Content-Type. How do you know if this board has a single content type? Check out the dashboard information portion of your board editor and see if there are one or more Content-Types listed. If you're not sure, don't worry; the Filter menu will not offer the option to add a filter if the board doesn't fit the single content type criteria. Otherwise, the Filter menu will display a plus sign icon. To add a filter, click the plus sign to produce a list of variables available to the board's Content-Type. Click on the variable you want as a filter.
The filter options for the selected variable will appear. Keep in mind that different variables produce different metrics so this step will not always list the same variables.
With our filter metrics selected, this dashboard will only pull information within the filter. Be cautious with dashboard level filters as they will be applied to all cards on the dashboard, and cards have their own filtering systems for filtering on that report only.
- Click on Audience and select the User Group(s) to which you want this dashboard to be visible. You can also define additional users by searching for a team member's name or email.
- Click Editors and select the User Group(s) that will be able to edit the board. You can also define additional users by searching for a team member's name or email.
- Click Insights
- Enabling Hierarchy dynamically sets the hierarchy for a user viewing a dashboard and lets you control the initial perspective the dashboard is viewed. You can learn more about the dashboard hierarchy settings here.
- Click Add Row + to add rows to your dashboard, then you can add a description if you'd like your viewers to see a quick description of what a certain row contains
- Click Add Card + to produce a selection of reports you can add to this row as interactive cards, this is where you get to add your own content and data!!! These Interactive Cards will illustrate content built with your own data that you want available on your dashboard. You can add more cards to the same row by repeating the process. When you're ready to create a new row, click the + Add Row button and do it all again!
Note: The populated card options are based on the content type of the board. For example, using the Generic Opportunity Insights template in creating a board will populate opportunity content. -
Adjust cards on rows: The number to the right of the card title allows you to decide the card's width. There are 12 widths available, selecting 6 will size the card at half the width of Row 1. (Six is half of twelve, get it?) This feature allows you to customize the size and how many cards are visible across each row.
Pro tips: You can rearrange rows in the board editor by dragging the three lines next to each row up or down to your desired location in the row order. And, once you have created your dashboard, you can add cards directly from the dashboard as well. - Once you have added cards to your board, click Save. Your dashboard is Dashboards page available in the left nav menu.
