InsightSquared Platform provides actions for specific content types, as part of a "context". You can enable guided selling for any content type that supports actions.
The current content types that support actions:

Let's review what's possible with each:
Accounts
Account actions can run using all account fields as triggers. Any account update or related dependency (i.e. Contact update) will update the account and trigger actions.
Opportunities
Opportunity actions can run using all opportunity or account fields as triggers. Any account update or related dependency (i.e. email sent) will update the opportunity and trigger actions.
Note: Opportunity actions will only run for 30 days past the opportunity close date by default.
Contacts
Contact actions can run using all contact or account fields as triggers. Any account update or related dependency (i.e. email sent) will update the account and trigger actions.
Leads
Lead actions can run using all lead fields as triggers. Any lead update or related dependency (i.e. email sent) will update the lead and trigger actions.
Note: Lead actions won't run after conversion by default
People
People actions can run using all user fields as triggers. Any person update or related dependency (i.e. email sent) will update the person activity. Actions run about once an hour for people.
Note: People actions won't run for inactive users.
Limiting Which Records Run Actions
It's possible to limit actions to not run against certain content types. The example below limits actions to run only against records owned or related to a Platform user.
You can provide a "filter" like any report to remove actions from any matching record.
