Salesforce announced on Jul 13, 2021 that "My Domain" would be required for all production instances of SFDC by the Winter '22 release. Many SFDC admins are getting ahead of that date and deploying now. Click here to read the full announcement.
What does this mean for your SFDC instance?
Standard SFDC domains follow a URL pattern of naXX.salesforce.com, "My Domain" domains follow a URL pattern of "XXXXX.my.salesforce.com".
Intelligence360 will automatically detect your current SFDC domain when we connect to your instance. Data previously loaded from the naXX.salesforce.com domain may keep the previous URL. We recommend configuring the redirect policy to allow users to use bookmarks of old SFDC pages.
You can see SFDC's "Set My Domain Login and Redirect Policies" article here.
Choose a redirect policy.
The My Domain redirect policy determines what users see when they access a bookmark or link that contains your previous instance-specific domain. For example, when a user visits https://InstanceName.lightning.force.com/lightning/page/home instead of https://MyDomainName.lightning.force.com/lightning/page/home.
There should be no disruption to your users, there should be no changes required by your SFDC or Intelligence360 admin to support the switch.
