Progression Graph
The graph illustrates change in your Pipeline by stages, which are labeled above the graph and includes detailed information by stage and opportunity type.
Gray bars: Pipeline total
The gray vertical bars to the left of each stage represent the total number of opportunities that started in that stage at the beginning of the period. The gray vertical bars on the the far right represent the total opportunities by stage at the end of the period and if they ended the period Closed Won, Closed Lost or with No Movement. The corresponding beginning and ending dates and monetary totals are displayed above the graph.
Red bars: Opportunities Going Closed Lost
Red bars represent the opportunities that are going Closed Lost. This is a good tool to determine during which stage(s) deals are stalling or turning.
Yellow bars: No Movement
Yellow bars represent opportunities that have not moved stages in the time period. This is useful in determining where activity has halted and what could encourage movement.
Green bars: Progressing to Next Stage
Green bars represent opportunities progressing to the next stage, an indicator of which opportunities are illustrating success and establishing best practices.
Drill Down on Progression Data
Find more detailed Progression data by filtering by stage or reflecting current or new reports.
Opportunity Filter by Stage
Clicking on a bar within a stage will produce details and filter your opportunity list below the graph with data relating only to the selected stage transition and opportunity type. For example, below we clicked on the yellow No Movement bar within the Demo stage. A display box pops up telling us we are looking at "Demo>No Movement" data and provides the number of opportunities (16) and the percentage of opportunities (43%) in the demo stage that made no movement. We are also provided with a filtered list of the 16 opportunities in this category below the chart.
Additionally, hover your mouse over the gray vertical bar under any stage to display information specific to that stage within the time period as is shown below for the Demo stage. This information includes the label of selected stage, changes in the time period and the current totals, average time in stage, conversion rate percentage and stage velocity per day.
Filter Sets
Click on Filters to view movement within an existing filter set or build a new one! To learn more about creating and understanding filter sets, click here.
Filter sets from this view allow you to inspect key details of opportunities to understand their lack of progress or advancement.
Ex. Inspect "last touch date" and "last inbound touch date" and "next steps" for opportunities with no movement.
Single Click Access from Movement Pipeline
Your list of opportunities will remain visible and accessible below the movement graph when investigating a stage/type, with a single click you can access full opportunity view, details, action metrics and instant actions for individual opportunities.
Opportunity Details
You can click directly on an opportunity Name to open the individual opportunity in full view, or click in the opportunity icon (to the left of the opportunity name) to display a details drawer on the right of your screen with the opportunity's details, contacts, timeline and activity as you see below. You can close the details drawer and return to the full list or click on another opportunity icon to continue inspection.
Action Metrics and Instant Actions
One-click access to Action Metrics and Instant Actions is available across the platform, you'll see both icons next to each opportunity in your Pipeline Movement list. The orange dot on the action metrics indicates that there is currently an active action for that opportunity that requires attention.
It's common to create actions for opportunities with no movement or engagement. Seeing recommended actions in this view can help you understand what might be going wrong in each opportunity.
