Imagine updating a single card to change the time frame of data you're viewing, where you're looking in the hierarchy and renaming the card...turning a 10 minute admin exercise into a 10 second business user exercise. Soon...you can!
Interactive cards will allow you to dynamically change certain data on a card right on the dashboard, on multiple cards, while retaining the basis of the report. While inspecting a dashboard you can quickly change the time frame of data showing, change the point of the hierarchy or even the name of the card. And...these changes only happen right there, that report will remain as it was elsewhere with the same dynamic opportunities for adjustment.
For example, let's say you currently have four Closed Won cards on a dashboard; Closed Won this Week; this Month; this Quarter and; this Year so you can have insight into similar data over different time periods. Interactive reports give you the opportunity to have to ONE Closed Won card where you can dynamically change the time frame based on the data you need in that moment.
With interactive cards:

Multiple cards can have the same “report”, but with different settings

Editing a card does not edit the report
-
Any viewer of a dashboard can edit any cards on that dashboard, editors can persist changes
Users will be able to dynamically change:

the timeframe of a report
-
the hierarchy level of the card
-
the name of the card

Content Debug Page
To enable admins to identify issues where data might not be visible in various portions of the product, we’ve created a content debug utility.
This utility allows admin to check:

If a record exists in the system
-
If that record is being excluded from results by global filters
-
If that record is authorized for the current user
-
If that record is authorized for the user selected in the hierarchy
Forecast Multi-Currency
Forecasting with multi-currency enabled allows users to input their forecast in their currency. Admins can request this feature be enabled then set up their team currencies and set individual users currencies so they can submit forecasts in their own currency. Learn more about how to set this up here.
Edit Past Forecasts
Anyone with permission can edit a past forecast, just as they would current submissions. If there is a lock icon next to a period, you do not have access to edit. One strong reason for the ability to edit a past forecast is the concept of “leaky quarters”. A leaky quarter is when a deal is booked after the end of a fiscal period against a prior period. For companies dealing with leaky quarters, the forecasting process can continue after a quarter ends.
Alert on Unsaved Dashboards
When changes are made to a dashboard, a warning will populate that unsaved changes have occurred as a reminder to save wanted changes. Users making changes and not saving them makes them do the work again, this alert will help prevent this from happening, improving their dashboard experience. If changes are made that a user does NOT want to save, they can navigate elsewhere to keep the dashboard as it was before changes.
