Intelligence360 is a data driven product so it’s extremely important to have all the data from external sources to ensure the product behaves correctly and reporting is accurate. To enable admins to identify issues where data might not be visible in various portions of the product, we’ve created a content debug utility.

This utility allows you to check:

If a record exists in the system
If that record is being excluded from results by global filters
If that record is authorized for the current user
If that record is authorized for the user selected in the hierarchy

To access the Content Debug page, click here or go to Settings > Debug Content

The interface provides advanced search capabilities to dig into the raw data that exists in the system. There are examples, but to learn more click here.

Using this, it’s now much easier to verify if there’s a missing group permission, or data is being excluded due to filters.

Ex. Sales Manager that can see some account records but not others based on group permissions.

Here’s the list of fields available:

Content Title	The display label in for that piece of content in the system
ExternalID	The unique identifier for that record from the external system
Matches Global Filters	✅ = This is visible in the system ❌ = this is is being filtered and is not visible in the system
Matches Current User Authorization	✅ = This is visible in the system for the current user ❌ = Not visible for the current user in the UI
Matches Hierarchy Selection	✅ = This is visible in the system for the selected user ❌ = Not visible for the current hierarchy selection in the UI
ID	Internal ID of the content item (useful for Mediafly Engineering to check logs on a single record)
Deleted Date	If this exists, the record was deleted from the external system on that date
Content Type	What content type is it within Intelligence360? What reports will this show on?
Policy Level	What permissions are applied to this record?
Policy Name	Which application created this data? What policy on the application?
Created In Platform	When did Intelligence360 see this content for the first time?
Activity Date	What is the activity date for the record?
Last Change from Sync	When was the last time we saw a change in the record from the external system?
Last Context Refresh	When was the last time Intelligence360 calculated context sourced properties, activity, actions or other related analytics?
Last Update Event	What was the external source's change date or the last time a mapped field was updated?
